THE popular Brunomart French market is making an unscheduled appearance in Wisbech next Friday. After its Essex date was cancelled, Fenland District Council stepped in to offer it space in the Market Place.
The 25 French stalls, with a huge variety of French produce, will help boost the Apple Day event organised by WisArd in conjunction with Fenland District Council. To celebrate national Apple Day, apple-related stalls and games will be set up in the Market Place alongside the Farmers Market stalls.
The French stalls together with those of the farmers and the Apple Day stalls will act as a major attraction for people across Fenland. Because of the expected influx of shoppers, the Market Place will be closed to traffic, although there will be a free flow of traffic from Hill Street through High Street. The Apple Day stalls will also be operating in the Market Place the following day.
The Brunomart market will return to Fenland, setting up in March on Sunday December 16 and then joining the big Christmas Market in Wisbech on Sunday December 17.
