CHAIRMAN Tony Pearson welcomed members to last Thursday's Friendship Club meeting in the village hall. Birthday greetings were sung to Betty Payne, Dorothy Watts Florence Ketteringham and Terry Bailey. Bingo and cards were played. Tea and biscuits were served by Pat Bailey and her helpers. Winners of the lucky numbers game were Freda Pearson, John Barker, Madge Saunderson and Pat Bailey. Draw prizes were won by Maggie Poole, Audrey Bright and Freda Pearson. An auction of goods brought by members was conducted by Wilf Clements.
