Fruit machine cash boxes emptied as thieves target Hippodrome pub in March

TWO fruit machine cash boxes were emptied at the Hippodrome after thieves smashed through the back door of the March pub.

Offenders broke into the Dartford Road pub before emptying the contents of the cash boxes. It is not known how much money was taken during the burglary which took place between 4.30-5.30am last Tuesday.

Det Con Nigel Coppin said: “I would appeal to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at this time on August 16 to contact me.”
