FRIENDS of St Mary’s Church, Whittlesey staged their ‘60 Glorious Years’ celebration to mark her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee.

Denny Hall worked tirelessly to find flower arrangers to produce beautiful designs as fitting tributes to The Queen’s.

Themes depicted in flowers ranged from Prince Philip, the Queen Mother, Royal residences, Chelsea Flower Show, Ascot, Crown Jewels and several of the Commonwealth countries depicted in flowers.

As part of their own Jubilee celebrations schools were encouraged to draw, paint, and collage their idea of the Queen on a paper plate. All of these works of art were festooned on the walls of St Mary’s.
