CINDERELLA, Jack and the Beanstalk and Aladdin were fused into one performance on Saturday as Upwell 1st Girls Brigade hosted ‘Panto Pandemonium’.

Youngsters teamed up with senior brigade members, including director and leader Cheryl Snowden, to put on the show at the Angles Theatre in Wisbech.

About 50 young performers, aged from four to 22, took to the stage to play a variety of roles from different pantomimes.

Volunteer Caroline Purchase said: “We’ve been rehearsing for about a year and they’ve all worked very hard. Everyone really enjoyed it and there were definitely a lot of proud parents in the audience.

“It worked out very well and it was filmed by The Television Business, from Emneth, so parents will able to get a copy.”

Members of the brigade, who meet every Friday, performed their spectacular show twice on Saturday.
