CHILDREN’S author and illustrator Gillian McClure visited Cavalry Primary School for its annual Book Week.
The Cambridge-based writer visited each year group of the March school to read stories and talk about her own books and how she illustrates them.
Later in the week pupils came into class dressed as teir favourite fictional character, sporting an array of costumes such as nurses, pirates, bears and even Superman.
“It always proves to be a great way to end the half term,” Liz Dowler from the school said.
