MORE than 50 adults and children tucked into bacon and cereal at the Big Family Breakfast, staged at Emneth Nursery School and Children’s Centre this morning.
Mums, dads, and grandparents accompanied pupils to the event, held to celebrate National Breakfast Week.
“It was lovely to see everyone enjoying breakfast together,” said school business manager Donna Olfield. “The savoury breakfast scone with bacon and tomato was definitely the most popular dish of the day.
The hearty breakfasts, that also included toast, croissants, and juice, were prepared and served by members of staff.
“Every year we get great feed-back from this event,” added Donna. “We had two sittings, and there was an excellent atmosphere as children and adults sat down together to share a meal.”
