A group of youngsters were given the task of commemorating the soldiers of the Great War through the re-decoration of a Chatteris bus shelter.
Members of Chatteris in Bloom and the Chatteris Town Council asked their eight youth members to take part in a project to repaint the bus shelter on East Park Street in Chatteris.
The theme was the Great War as this year marks the 100 year anniversary of the start of the war, in which many local people were killed fighting for their country.
The project took several evenings to show the finished article but, after a lot of hard work and a few tins of paint, the shelter is now complete.
The Chatteris branch of the Royal British Legion congratulated the youth members for their efforts as well as Leah Templeman and David Seal for organising and bringing together the project.
