THEY munched, danced and laughed their way through the eve of festival dinner- which pretty much set the tempo for a weekend of fun, laughter and celebration in Chatteris.
The historic festival has become in recent years a firmly established tradition in the town but this year the Diamond Jubilee gave it a special theme in the flag becdecked marquee.
Jesters and jokers were in abundance as the festival stayed true to its historic theme during a weekend that saw not only the Best of British celebrated but also some of the Best –and Worst- of British weather.
