A group of Cromwell Community College sixth formers banded together to organise a charity fun run in memory of one of their own.
On Saturday, more than 70 people took part in a fun run at Wenny recreation ground in Chatteris, which was the idea of the college’s Student Voice group.
The tribute fund raiser to Leonardo DiGiovanni, who died at his Wimblington home age 17 last year, raised £465 for Young Minds.
Student Laura Garner said: “The event went really well. There must have been more than 70 people there. People of all ages took part for a very worthwhile cause.”
Young Minds is a mental health charity for young people. To find out more, go to www.youngminds.org.uk
