GALLERY: Country fans flock from far and wide for festival

HUNDREDS of music lovers pitched up in Littleport over the weekend for the return of the Huggy Bear Country and Western Festival.

Caravans and trailers from as far afield as Wales, Somerset and Lancashire braved the weather to attend the fifth annual festival, held at the Littleport Leisure Centre on Camel Road from Friday to Sunday.

Organiser Ken Bloom, said: “It was a reasonable turnout considering the terrible weather we had and we had some top acts there including Gary Perkins and Ce La Vie.

“Everyone who turned out had some fun and we are looking forward to doing it all again next year.”

As well as a series of music acts on the main stage, there were also trade stands and demonstrations for country and western fans.
