Lisa Dickinson, of Dance Mania, staged the show Move, a performance of up-tempo music involving around 85 girls and boys from the age of three upwards.

Lisa said: “I’m really proud of all of the dancers, not just for their hard work in rehearsals but also for their attitude and commitment.

“The way they all behave, get on together and work so well is amazing and they all deserve a massive thankyou.

“Parents also worked hard - their dedication and support is fantastic, so big thanks all round.”

Three shows were staged over the weekend with a range of colourful quick costume changes and lively music.

Younger dancers have been preparing since September while older dancers had just a few weeks to prepare.

Taking the stage by storm were brother and sister dance duo Scarlet and Kieran Maloney, said Lisa, who has been running the dance school since 1996.

The next shows on the Dance Mania calendar are St Georges Day on April 27, Pop in the Park and the Braza show on July 11.
