CROMWELL Community College's Science Department opened its doors to Year 5 pupils from Lionel Walden Primary School on Monday.

The Doddington school’s pupils had been invited to take part in the college’s Forensic Science Day.

Under the careful observation of Doctor Pearson, the eager pupils were introduced to flame testing.
