ECONOMY Windows celebrates its 25th anniversary this month with an open weekend including 25 per cent off everything purchased and the chance to WIN a conservatory.

The family-run business is saying thank you to its customers with a special event at its new, state-of-the-art Wisbech showroom from September 14-17. A special guest will make an appearance and there will be burgers and drinks aplenty, with a barbecue daily from noon-2.30pm.

Every Economy Windows customer who visits during the open weekend will also be entered into a free prize draw to win a conservatory – and there is 25 per cent off everything for the four days.

Not only does Economy Windows offer market leading brands in all its product ranges, the company also offers a service second to none from start to finish.

Jim McClure, Economy Windows’ business manager, said: “The success of Economy Windows is largely down to its credibility and the reputation it has built up over the years and to the quality of our products.

“It is also about personal service and providing the very best care and attention to meet the requirements of every single customer. We never use high-pressure sales techniques, we never ask for a deposit - we let our reputation do the talking.”

This hard-earned reputation has resulted in more than 18,000 satisfied customers and hundreds of testimonials and personal recommendations over the last quarter of a century.

The company was also awarded membership of the Master Window and Conservatory Installers Association and is listed as one of its TOP 100 companies.

Don Waterworth, founder of TOP 100 Trades, said: “Economy Windows has been registered as a TOP 100 company for several years and maintain the very highest levels of customer care and service, married with exceptional staff and technical ability.

“Economy Windows is one of our premier members.”

• ONE installation carried out by Economy Windows was at the house in Elwyn Road, March, which won the 2012 Fenland Building Design Awards.

Economy Windows was approached by owner Kathleen Hubbard during the early stages of the home’s design.

Jim said: “It was a very challenging project – just because something is easy to draw doesn’t mean it’s easy to manufacture. It was a complex job to complete, particularly the rear glass apex elevation and the glass gable dormers.

“We regularly liaised with the architects (KL Elener Architectural Design) and an artist who Mrs Hubbard had engaged to create a special, coloured lead glass design in the front entrance to the property.

“It took several months to design and build but the end result is fantastic.”

Judges in this year’s Building Design Awards, run by this newspaper in conjunction with Fenland District Council, unanimously voted for Mrs Hubbard’s home in Elwyn Road as the overall winner due to its imaginative design and build.

Mrs Hubbard said: “I was very happy with the service I received from Economy Windows from start to finish. I was delighted with the design and the windows look great.”
