Charity chief executive Linda Ingram said: “We were delighted to have such a good turn out on the day. We had lots of stallholders and the Mayor of March, Councillor Andrew Pugh, paid us a visit.

“We were able to sell products made by our staff and students in our woodwork, art and craft and horticulture departments. All the money raised will be used to buy equipment for our students.”

The FACET choir, made up of students and staff, entertained visitors with carol singing, and there was alo a name the doll competition.

Ms Ingram added: “People kindly donated lots of prizes for the raffle and some lovely cakes for us to sell on the day, so a wonderful time was had by all.”
