THERE was plenty of glitz and glamour to give Year 6 pupils a night to remember when a March primary school held a leavers prom.
All Saints School had been given a makeover in the school colours of green and gold and pupils were welcomed to the black tie event with non-alcoholic cocktails served by teaching assistants and members of the PTA.
Around 30 pupils sat down to a three-course meal which had been cooked and prepared by chairman of the PTA Paul Roberts and his team of willing parents. Afterwards the youngsters enjoyed a disco, cocktail bar and a chocolate fountain.
Mr Roberts said he was delighted with the event. He said: βIt was an absolutely fantastic evening and I think it was the best one yet. The school looked wonderful in the green and gold colours and it was something anyone would have been really proud of.β
