The great and the good gathered to enjoy an evening of entertainment at the mayor’s charity ball.

Around 120 guests decked out in their finery attended the event at the Braza in march which raised more than 3500 for local good causes.

Cllr Kit Owen said: “The guests all commented that it was the best dinner they have enjoyed at this event with thanks to Classics Catering.”

Entertainment followed by the band Skyliners.

Money raised will go to the March branch of Parkinson’s, the disabled swimming group and the March and Chatteris Talking Newspaper.

Cllr Owen said: They are not only very deserving causes but often also get overlooked which is why I felt it was important to have them all on my mayor’s fund raising list.”
