Assault courses, inflatable boxing and rifle ranges were the order of the day at Mepal and Witcham Primary School this week.
The school ditched the traditional sponsored swim or run for this year’s Sport Relief in favour of some more adventurous activities.
More than 60 children enjoyed shooting at targets, going head-to-head with giant, inflatable boxing gloves and pitting their wits against an enormous assault course, all in the name of charity.
And, when the school day was done, it was the turn of parents to have a go…and there was no shortage of volunteers.
A school spokesman said the sponsorship money was still being collected and counted but more than £100 was expected to have been raised.
