KING Henry VIII and his six wives were on show in Chatteris last week as Kingsfield Primary School held a tudor feast.
Year five and six students dressed up in a variety of tudor costumes for Friday’s feast, which was the culmination of a history project.
Two students, who won a competition to play the roles of King Henry VIII and Catherine Parr, sat at the head of the banquet and led the tudor dance.
Amy Stanford, year six teacher, said: “It was a lovely afternoon and everyone enjoyed themselves. It was really nice to have a hands-on day where all the work we had been doing could be shown off.”
