NODDY and his car made an appearance at March Catholic Church’s Summer Fayre on Saturday.

He had his photograph taken with visitors, who made donations to Our Lady of Good Council and St Peter Church.

Those in attendance were treated to a rousing performance from The All Saints Inter-Church Academy School Choir, craft stalls, games in the parish garden behind the church, refreshments and a barbecue.

Church member Rebecca Bretherton said: “The Fayre was enjoyed by members of the parish, our friends and the church’s neighbours.

“It was lovely to welcome people who had never seen inside our church to the All Saints’ Academy Choir concert.

“The Fayre is the big annual fundraiser of our church and the money will be spent on our heating bills and the expenses of running a church.

“It will make a big contribution to the ever increasing costs of running our church.”
