Fifteen enthusiastic pool players alternated for 24 hours to raise more than £1,200 for the March Royal British Legion Club and a local charity.
As well as the 24-hour pool marathon, which ended at 1pm on Sunday, the club also staged a children’s fun day with a bouncy castle, assault course, pirate ship, barbecue, cream teas and stalls.
Monies raised this year will be split between the club and FACET, a charity which supports people with disabilities in the Fenland area.
Organiser Gary Brinn said: “The day went very well. The boys were flagging a bit at 4am but nobody feel asleep and we all lasted until 1pm.”
