The 29-year-old, who used to train police dogs from when they were puppies, has completed her professional dog groomer qualifications.

She has bought her own chalet and fully equipped it with a bath and grooming table to pamper her doggie customers.

She said: “It’s a dream come true for me. I’ve always wanted to run my own business and I absolutely adore dogs.

“It has been hard work setting things up, but at long last I am up and running and open for business.”

One of the first dogs to enjoy the pampering experience was Manea woman Judy Thorpe’s King Charles Cavalier Molly, who was in for a bath, blow dry and cut.
