A night of glamorous dresses and fine dining raised more than £600 for four different local charities during the 2014 Mayor’s Charity Ball.
Councillor Andrew Pugh hosted the successful evening at the March Braza Club which raised money for March Air Cadets, March Army Cadets, FACET and Chatting Independently, a charity which supports those with a physical handicap.
There were 118 people who enjoyed the night, which consisted of a five course meal, music from the band Skyliners, a caricature artist and a raffle.
“It was an excellent night which raised a fantastic amount of money,” said Mr Pugh.
