ORGANISERS of the Littleport Leisure Centre Fun Day say Sunday’s event was one of their best ever, with hundreds of people turning out to enjoy the festivities.
As well as a car boot sale, Zumba, and a football tournament, visitors also enjoyed a dog show, flyball, psychic mediums, WI teas, welly wanging and classic car and bike show.
The tug-of-war was won by biker team 363 MCC while the schools challenge was won by Littleport Community Primary.
A sponsored chest wax was also held, with organisers Andy Rutterford and Andrew Pendle having their chests’ stripped bare, raising £230 for CLIC Sargent.
A WWII Douglas C47 Dakota carried out a flypast before Sue Broad was announced as the winner of the £200 grand draw.
