A church hall came alive with four legged friends when a pet service was held to say thankyou for the animals in peoples lives.

Dogs, cats and two rabbits joined the service at St Peter’s Church in March which was held following the popularity of previous pet services.

Led by Rev Jenny Webb, the service had hymns of praise and prayers of thanks for our pets along with prayers for those who care for animals

A well attended church hall saw well behaved animals sit through the 30 minute service along with their owners.

It was followed with refreshments for the pets - and humans too.
