A national charity devoted to supporting people with mental health problems held a health and well being fair at March.

The Richmond Fellowship, which has offices in March and Wisbech, hosted the afternoon event to promote its work and encourage healthy lifestyles.

At the event were a range of stalls including healthy eating advice, information on alcohol consumption and a nails and beauty stand.

The charity has been at the heart of recovery for more than 50 years and is not one of the biggest voluntary sector providers of mental health care in England.

The fellowship offers a wide range of housing, care, employment and community support across more than 120 services.

As a registered charity, its patron is HRH Princess Alexandra and its main goals are making recovery a reality, working towards a society that values everyone with mental health problem and the belief that recovery is possible for every individual.

A Richmond Fellowship spokesman said: “We are about giving people encouragement and support to achieve their goals and the belief that everyone has a right to participate fully in society.

“We are a specialist provider of mental health services. Our focus is on providing high quality services to the 9,000 people we support each year.”
