More than £2,000 was raised by Sainsbury’s in March when staff took part in a series of challenges for Sport Relief.
Included in the fund-raising fun were a series of corporate flashmob dances, as part of a national initiative on Friday.
Staff danced on the hour, every hour, on Friday and Saturday, with customers joining in on numerous occasions.
On Saturday, workers raced against firefighters from March in a cycling challenge, with the target of cycling 88 miles - the length of the River Nene.
Farron Davis, the store’s PR ambassador, said: “Both teams managed to reach and exceed this target.
“We couldn’t have done this challenge without the generous support of staff from New Vision Fitness at the George Campbell Leisure Centre, who attended the cycling challenge and advised our customers and colleagues about using the spinning cycles and facilities.”
In addition, Julie Wenn and Lewis Taylor ran the Sport Relief mile in Milton on Saturday alongside regional colleagues and Sainsbury’s chief executive Justin King. Both Julie and Lewis completed the run in less than seven minutes.
Store manager Graeme Speke joined other regional managers by braving the cold waters of the Wash, near Hunstanton, for a swim.
Staff also took part in a regional tag rugby competition, finishing as runners-up.
The fund-raising total was topped up by sales of Sport Relief merchandise.
