A search and rescue team will use a Fenland club’s riverside headquarters for their training.

Cambridge Search & Rescue Team, based at March Fire Station, have been offered free use of Skoulding’s Rest by the Middle Level Watermen’s Club.

About 1,200 people go missing every year in Cambridgeshire.

Skoulding’s Rest, which has disabled assess, is for both public and private moorings.

The search and rescue team, which is equipped with an inflatable boat, kayak and mountain bikes, is on the lookout for male and female volunteers.

No experience is required - you are introduced straight into a training programme.

First practice takes place on February 23.
