ORGANISERS are already planning for next year following the success of the 15th Wilburton Beer Festival at the weekend.
The rain stayed away and people poured in to sample some of the 30 beers and ciders on offer.
Families relaxed on the lawns during the day whilst children were entertained by zorbing, a huge bouncy slide, straw bales fun area, face painting, ride on toys and various competitions including an assault course which proved very popular.
The fun continued into the evening with live bands playing to a happy and enthusiastic audience. All profits will go to local good causes and the main beneficiary this year is the much needed new children’s playground in the village. Local community groups will also benefit, along with the Liam Fairhurst Foundation. The date has even been fixed for next year’s festival which will be held on June 21/22.
