Christmas trees lined the inside of a Fenland church for its fifth annual Christmas Tree Festival at the weekend.
In total, there were 28 trees which could be admired within St Augustine’s Church, Wisbech, decorated by schools, shops and organisations.
As well as the colourful display, which can be enjoyed until Twelfth Night, a number of stalls were set up, refreshments were served, hand bell playes Bell Folk performed and everyone joined together to sing carols.
Organiser Elaine Carney was thrilled with how the festival unfolded.
She said: “It was a lovely way of celebrating Christmas. The theme for the trees was Christmas songs and we had a real cross section of the community taking part.
“It was definitely a success - a good way of raising church funds. We don’t have the final total yet but it looks like it will be about £500.”
