THOUSANDS of visitors flocked to Duxford on Sunday for ShowBus, the biggest bus display in the world.
More than 400 single and double-decker buses gathered at the Cambridgeshire imperial war museum for the quirky event which displayed vehicles that have operated around the world.
The centenary of the Maidstone and District Motor Service was commemorated with a special parade of vintage vehicles around the airfield.
The London Routemaster company celebrated 50 years since its longer model entered service with a display of the nostalgic buses while the well-known London RF single-decker bus celebrated its 60th anniversary at the event too.
Enthusiasts also got the chance to see some of the bus industry’s latest models and enjoy scenic rides throughout the day.
