SEVERAL children made their performing debuts as Meadows Day Care centre in Chatteris held their Nursery Rhyme Nativity,

The little performers, all aged between two and four, put on a traditional nativity play with songs sung to famous nursery rhyme tunes.

Three of the songs were performed by the children while using sign langauage.

Susan Kelly, the centre manager, said: “The children have been working really hard practising so it was really nice to see everything come together.

“For a lot of the parents it would have been the first time they have seen their children performing to an audience.”
