A wonderful afternoon of winter wonderment came to Parson Drove when the village school held its annual festive fund raiser.
The Winter Wonderland craft and food bonanza is into its third year and raised £750 for Alderman Payne school funds.
Karen Fevyer, who sits on the school’s fund raising committee, said: “There was a really good turn out and an impressive amount raised. Everyone had a great afternoon and lots of money was raised for the school at the same time.”
At the wonderland was a Santa’s grotto, local craft stalls and food stalls along with a grand draw.
The committee has just paid for a new roof on the school’s swimming pool and are now saving for a school minibus.
