A weekend of heavy rain caused organisers to wave the white flag on the popular country fayre in Wisbech St Mary.
The event, which usually attracts hundreds of visitors, was dampened by rain and on day two of the show organisers decided to call time around mid day.
Martin Holmes, treasurer of the Trustees of the Wisbech St Mary Sports and Community Centre, said: “A big thankyou needs to go to everyone on the committee and all the helpers who battled through the conditions and showed an amazing sense of team spirit.
“The rain stopped the day on Sunday but Saturday went ahead.”
It’s A Knockout attracted seven teams who enjoyed the competition on Saturday.
Other events included a steam engine, tractor, football and games.
Part of the day included the Fenland Beerfest in a fayre that was opened by Steve Barclay, followed by children’s activities and a chainsaw sculpture.
A street dance group entertained and there was a tug of war.
