YOUNGSTERS enjoyed a spooky atmosphere when their school’s friends group organised a Halloween disco.
The disco at Alderman Jacobs School, in Whittlesey, was held last Wednesday.
Nicola Parker, assistant head, said: “Our PTFA here is so proactive and ensure that there are lots of party-type events available for the children, which add to the extensive extra curricular events which are organised by us in school.
“I feel it is really important that children have fun while they are at school. Children who enjoy their time at school will learn more and remember more.”
As part of the disco children were invited to carve a pumpkin to add to the spooky atmosphere. Many children participated and their pumpkins were on display in front of the school building.
Winners were:
1st Marshall Hustler, aged four, in Class 2
2nd Lucy Rippon, aged eight, in Class 13
3rd Harmony Towning, aged eight, in Class 13, and Destiny Towning, aged 10, in Class 20
