A resident wants to fell eight trees which have grown to more than twice the height of his home.
Stephen Robshaw, of Horsegate, Whittlesey, has asked Fenland District Council for permission to fell the eight dramatically overgrown trees, four in front of and four behind his home.
Mr Robshaw, who lives in a conservation area, also wants to cut back the remaining Leylandi trees so they are not more than five metres in height.
