More than 170 paintings by members of the popular Wisbech Art Club are on show at their annual winter exhibition in St Peter’s Church.
Paintings in a wide variety of styles and media can be viewed in the town centre church between 9am and 5pm until Saturday, and from 12noon to 2pm on Sunday. Entry is free.
Club secretary Moira Johnson said: “With more than 30 members exhibiting their work, this is the biggest show in the club’s history. Most of the work is offered for sale, and we have been very pleased with the visitor numbers so far.”
The club meets on Friday evenings, and has a waiting list of prospective members.
The art club’s next exhibition will be the summer show, held in the Pump Room of Wisbech Castle during Wisbech Rose Fair.
