Firefighters were called after a bonfire spiralled out of control on Monday night.
Emergency services were called shortly after 7pm following reports of a fire out in the open in Cornfield Lane, Littleport.
Firefighters from the village arrived to find a bonfire in a garden. They extinguished the blaze and returned to their station by 7.55pm.
A fire service spokesman said: “If you are planning on having a bonfire please ensure you build it away from buildings, sheds, fences, hedges and traffic. Also never leave a bonfire unattended and keep a bucket of water handy, just in case.”
