DOZENS of members were given solutions to their gardening problems as a meeting of March Rotary Club took on a green-fingered theme.
Jill Vaughan and John Overvoorde, from Delfland Nurseries in Doddington, answered botanical questions from around 50 people at the meeting, which was centred on the popular radio show Gardeners’ Question Time.
The evening, hailed as a highlight in the club’s calendar, saw the experts cover topics including pruning, watering and recycling.
President John Orbell opened the evening by welcoming frequent visitor June Snowden, with Don Morris concluding the meeting by thanking all the contributors.
Requests have already been made to make this themed-meeting an annual fixture.
