TEENAGERS are celebrating in Whittlesey today after Sir Harry Smith Community College posted an outstanding set of GCSE results.
The school saw 80 per cent of its students achieve five A*-C grades - an increase on last year.
But there was a huge 13 per cent rise in the number of students who achieved the Gold Standard, as 67 per cent achieved five A*-Cs including English and Maths.
Principal Jonathan Digby congratulated the students and teachers who worked hard to produce “an outstanding set of GCSE results this summer”.
He said: “I am delighted that the students have achieved the results that they so richly deserve.”
