Georges pub in March undertakes 48 hour charity cycle ride for Children In Need

Georges in March is doing its bit for Children in Need with a 48 hour charity cycle.

The endurance challenge started on a stationary bike outside the pub on Friday at 5pm.

It is part of four days of fundraising on behalf of the charity at the pub, with Pudsey themed events which include a karaoke night, pyjama party, zumba class, retro disco and a quiz.

Nigel Marsh, Georges’ landlord, spent the early hours of Saturday morning on the bike.

He said: “There should be around 20 people getting on the bike during the 48 hours.
