ARE you over 60 years of age or do you have a disability? Would the reassurance of an emergency contact at the end of a telephone line help to re-assure you?

If so, perhaps a SayPhone Community Lifeline could be for you.

The lifeline, available to people living in Fenland, is linked to a central control point, with a record of next of kin and emergency contacts.

Should you need help in an emergency, just press the button and you can liaise with an operator who will be able to help you.

Along with the lifeline a remote button device is also supplied as a pendant or wrist band, to give you peace of mind around your home.

The council has received funding to enable it to offer SayPhone lifeline units rental free. You just pay the monitoring fee and a small administration charge (currently £1.55 a week, subject to annual increases).

If you are interested in this offer, please contact Sue Bradshaw on 01354 602167 or Andy Thomas on 01354 602173.
