CALLING all golfers. Fenland Council is looking for volunteers to take keen disabled golfers out on the course at the Priory Golf Club in Wimblington on Wednesday evenings between 5pm and 7pm.

Through FENDIS, the Fenland Disability Sports Forum, the council is keen to attract golfing volunteers to help local people with a range of disabilities enjoy golf.

For the past year Priory instructor John Rose, has been working with a group of keen golfers with disabilities and he needs help to take them to the next level and also to create the capacity to encourage more people with disabilities to come along and enjoy the game.

Any golfers who have the time to spare on Wednesday evenings to get involved should contact Annette Fontaine, Fenland's sports inclusion officer, on 01354 622508.
