FOR the second year running, Skylark Garden Centre at Wimblington is to open its maize maze to the public.

The maze, created in a 12-acre field, is cut using a wide open lawnmower after being mapped out by a GPS system and has three kilometers full of devious dead ends, twists, turns and observation mounds.

You can buy a map of the maze for £1 with all of the cash going to charity. There are also tractor rides, bouncy castles and other attractions at the centre. Theme for this year is to mark the 25th anniversary of the Space Shuttle.

The maze's grand opening will be on the July 22 and it will be open during the summer from 10 am and the last entry will be at 4 pm (Sundays 3pm). Ticket prices are £1 for all on July 22 and after that £3 for adults, £2 for children and £10 for a family ticket (two adults, two children).
