Give your self some food for thought for your future at an open day at Peterborough Regional College.

The day is on Saturday April 23 from 10am and 2pm and is for anyone looking to join a post 16 course this September.

Visitors will have the opportunity to find out about the extensive range of full and part time of courses on offer, as well as Apprenticeships in more than 30 different industries.

Courses cater for all kinds of learners, whether they’re finishing GCSE’s or A Levels in the summer and are looking at their next steps, or adults looking to retrain or enhance their skills to help them advance in their career.

Event organiser Katie Hurrell said “This is a great opportunity for those completing their GCSE’s this year to come along and find out exactly what other options are available to them post 16, as they have more options than they probably realise.”

The full range of courses encompasses academic subjects like engineering, IT and medical science as well as vocational skills based subjects including hospitality and catering, hair and beauty and construction.

As well as looking around the campus, visitors will also be able to chat about the advantages of studying at PRC with industry specialist tutors.

Dedicated customer information staff will also be on hand to offer advice on college life like transport, finance and student support.
