WOULD you like to develop new skills? Are you interested in art? Would you like to learn about the history of the Fens and meet new people?
Wisbech Museum is offering "Fenland Roots - an image in time", a six-week course developing skills in using watercolour, oils, charcoal and pastels with help from a qualified tutor.
Photographs from the Lilian Ream Collection will be shown, depicting a personal and interesting view of the Fens, before being recreated using art-based techniques.
The course starts on Thursday, September 7, and runs until Thursday, October 12. Sessions will run every Thursday from 2-4pm.
The first session will include a talk on the history of the Fens, using the Lilian Ream collection.
The course costs £15 per person, including equipment. For more information, contact the education officer on 01945 583817.
