Giant eggs used to inspire children’s writing at March primary school

CHILDREN at a March primary school got a huge surprise on Friday morning when they arrived to find an area of their playground cordoned off.

Burrowmoor Primary School received a delivery of some large eggs over the weekend and used them as inspiration for their ‘Big Write’ within school programme.

Children were asked to write about what the giant eggs were and where they could have come from. The school’s youngest children wrote the opening of a story and the older youngsters wrote a full story about their ideas.
