AT the Good Companions' monthly meeting on Friday, Adam Prat, from Fenland District Council's environmental department, gave a short talk about what, and what not, to put in your different wheelie bins.

Sylvia Constable read a poem and members were entertained by some of the Acorn Singers, as the Salvation Army Captains were unable to be present, due to other commitments. Sheila Greenwood organised the raffle.

While refreshments were being taken, names were taken for members wishing to go on a trip to Wroxham on May 14. Contact: 01354 692867 or 693797.

Next meeting: Friday May 4.
