A lucky seven-year-old from March got the chance to meet England Cricket stars at Lord’s – and chat to them about Disney princesses!
Gracie Cornwell, from Lional Walden School, was offered the chance to attend a press conference with the England Cricket Team at the ground with her father Andy.
It came as part of March Town Cricket Club’s All Stars money can’t buy big moment experience.
At the event children were able to ask a question to the players.
Ben Cajee, who is a CBeebies presenter, chose Gracie to ask a question which was ‘which Disney Princess would you marry?’
Alistair Cook replied with Elsa, Mark Stoneman selected Princess Jasmine because he wanted a ride a flying carpet and Chris Woakes chose Snow White. Proud mother, Tanya, said: “Her question brought lots of laughter and fun to the press conference.
“Gracie got her All Stars bat signed by the players and by Michael Atherton who they bumped into during their picnic lunch.
“It was an amazing experience for her and she looks forward to sharing with her classmates at Lionel Walden school and fellow All Stars at March Town Cricket Club.”
The children were then invited to watch England and Pakistan warm up and do some training.
