A GRANDFATHER had a special day when he helped his son baptise his three grandchildren who were visting from America at the Providence Baptist Church, March.
Bill Armstrong led the service on Sunday July, 3, with Giles Armstrong, a pastor in his American home town, giving a message prior to Christopher, 14, Sophia, 12, and Olivia, 11, Armstrong being baptised.
Lunch was served to around 60 members of the congregation and afterwards everyone got together to worship and sing choruses and hymns. The service closed with a rousing rendition of “I stand amazed in the presence of Jesus the Nazarene”.
